This week we have been learning some literacy and numeracy games on the ipads. 

Many of the children are already very confident with 

using a device!

On Tuesday we practiced our focus word- like 

and the letter sound 's'

Teddy Bears Picnic

Room 15 had a wonderful 'Teddy Bear Picnic' themed day of learning.

First we went to the library and showed our teddies some books.

Then we wrote some describing words about our bears.

Our teddy bears joined us for reading and mathematics...

And of course our picnic!

As a special surprise, Miss P. baked teddy bear shaped cookies that we decorated and ate outside with our friends from Room 16.

We have been having lots of fun getting to know each other in our class and learning along the way. Here is some photos of us moving and dancing, making octopus for our learning about the letter 'o' and sorting objects into different grouping in Math.
