To connect all our learning about insects and bugs we spent time in groups talking about what insects we think are helpful and harmful. All the children had their own ideas and thoughts and make a chart to share with the class about why they placed different bugs in the helpful or harmful category.

Casting Magic with Worms

Room 15 had a wonderful time at the Botanic Gardens with worm expert Pete and he taught us many interesting facts about worms and how important they are for the growth of plants. We also loved getting our hands dirty making our own worm farms!

Some early finishers at writing have been trying hard to get the giant puzzle completed...and last Thursday they finally did!
Room 15 also love our reading corner so much that after morning tea children choose to snuggle in there and look at books together.
